Saturday"s Scribbles

Good Saturday to you from our corner of Iowa where 10 inches of fresh snow arrived this past Wednesday night into Thursday.   Joel has been busy blowing the white stuff,  getting plenty of fresh air.   It is definitely bright outside.

Speaking of white, it's my least favorite color...and sunglasses are my go to item inside and outside.  My cornea?  Som days the pain is gone,  discomfort and aching less. Then it returns...  Lots of ointment and eye rest help keep us determined and focused on  moving forward with Hope for healing..

Last night we watched the movie :The Prince of Egypt "  We have been reading the Bible in a year with Lutheran Church of Hope...actually doing the audio version and a few questions on the first chapters of Exodus had me sending out an SOS to our oldest daughter who has a Masters in Old Testament.   She was helpful and gave us a homework assignment...watch this movie.   So we did!  I did more of a watch/listen....it was good!  And the journey continues.

Keeping this short for obvious reasons...I'm grateful for audio Bibles,  times when pain is gone, Encouraging words from others, a daughter answering our SOS, cartoon movies with a message, ointments, prayers, sunglasses and so much more.

Enjoy your weekend!
