Thankful Thursday: Aha Moments

I have been re-reading one of Max Lucado's books today and neon lights have been going off, giving me a few "aha" moments. Don't you just love when that happens??!!
Today my thankfulness focuses on those aha moments that God blesses me with.

Thank You Lord For The Aha's :

The aha of realizing that my new glasses have given me a clearer view and I can not only read easier, but enjoy nature much better from my window!

The aha moment of realizing how privileged I am to be able to read. To not only have all the time in the world to thumb through the pages of a book, but having the ability to read. I have always believed if you can read, the world is at your fingertips...you can do anything!

The aha moment of realizing how much God loves me ~ sending me encouragement in the form of the prayers of others, devotionals, and your Word. Also the words that pop out and grab me through the Internet, books, and even the TV.

The aha moment of realizing that God loves me so much He wants what is best for me AND He wants me to be the best I can for Him. Not only encouraging me but teaching me. For His glory. To be a witness for Him.

The aha moment of realizing once again that my God is a powerful, mountain-moving, earth shaking God!

The aha moment of realizing that I have had more aha moments in my lifetime than I can ever count!

May you be washed in aha moments this day.

Renee, I praise the Lord with you for your aha moments! I can truly agree with all your "aha's" in my own life too. (I do not have Lyme disease, but I have CFS and my husband has diabetes.)

I want to add another aha, if I may - 2 Cor 12:9 NASB
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

What a magnificent aha - that the power of Christ dwells in us, especially when we feel so weak!
My prayer for you and us all who need this today is based on Isa 61:3 ESV for the Spirit of God to:
... grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

In Jesus' Name,
Amen.

Peace to you all.
Malva

That is very lovely!
You do stop and realize now and again the aha of a moment and it's wonderful to know that you are able to do something when others can't.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Malva
We all have a story to tell, don't we Malva. And one that will give God the glory. 2corth. 12:9 is one of my favorite versers too...
Lately I have been putting my focus off of me, and on to our mountain-moving, earth shaking all powerful all loving God!

This is encouraging Renee and your aha's remind me of counting blessings or keeping a gratitude journal. I share a few of those with you and the one about reading I tell my children all the time. I appreciate the ability to read even more now than prior to my eye site problems. It makes me realize how many gifts of grace God truly gives us and some times even surprises us with when we are not even expecting them.
I wish you many more 'aha's!

Oh, I agree, Jan Lyn, being able to read is such a blessing...such a privilege! We often don't really appreciate what gifts our eyes and ears are until something puts them at risk.
