An Old Irish Prayer

This prayer seems to hold a special blessing today for me and I wanted to share it with you. Maybe it is my Irish ancestry that has come calling. I have a plaque that hangs on my wall that comes from a Celtic company in Canada...something to do with monks I believe. The calligraphy prayer is one of a kind that came framed in old wood with a cross etched on the side.

Deep peace of the running waves to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the smiling stars to you.
Deep peace of the watching shepherds to you.
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you...
An Old Irish Prayer

Renee, I want you to know that I am praying for you, and will mark my calendar to be in prayer on March 23rd, as you undergo your surgery. God is indeed in every detail of our lives...nothing is left out or forgotten, for He has created us and has every hair numbered. There is nothing to fear...you have done all that you can do, and now your "job" is to trust. Believing in a total healing is your job...that is all He asks of you, that you trust Him and leave the details in His divine wisdom to fulfill.

I hope you had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day, and that the Irish eyes were smiling on you today! I forgot to wear green, so when I got to my daughter's school, everyone yelled at me...I immediately went home and put on my green! Everywhere I went today, people were decked out in green...it was wonderful to see it. I am also Irish, but it didn't matter, there were all kinds wearing it today...and I hope they all had a little luck come there way because they wore their greens!

Praying for you and yours...thank you for sharing your deep faith, and may God bless you mightily as you wait upon Him.

Mary

Renee, I have March 23 on my calendar too..I have been praying but I wasn't quite sure what the date was.
I know God holds you in the palm of His hand and that he will guide every hand that touches you.

Bless you my friend, Patty
