Philippians 4:8 "Finally by brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things."
At times it is easy to think the worst about others, ourselves, or a situation we find ourselves in. We become all "gloom and doom" in our thinking.

I used to use this verse out of Philippians at funerals and encourage those assembled to think about such things as they remembered the deceased. Thanks for your post.
